The New York City Bar Association recently sent a letter to the Pennsylvania General Assembly in support of Pennsylvania legislation (HB 1411; SB 843) that would ban live-pigeon shoots.

As the letter states, Pennsylvania’s pigeon shoots are creating problems not only in Pennsylvania, but also in neighboring states such as New York.

I strongly encourage Pennsylvania citizens to contact their representatives and tell them that you support House Bill 1411 and Senate Bill 843. For an easy way to find contact information for your state legislators, you can follow this Humane Society link:

All US members...Please follow through on this one. I know that at times it seems like one person can't make a difference but many 1 persons together can.
